How to measure dynamic contact angles on superhydrophobic surfaces

Superhydrophobic surfaces are gaining more and more attention as new applications are discovered.

For a surface to be superhydrophobic, it has to fulfill two requirements.
1/ The static contact angle has to be over 150 degrees;
2/ The surface has to have a low contact angle hysteresis.
Measuring dynamic contact angles is especially important for studying superhydrophobic surfaces.

Measuring minimum miscibility pressure

Enhanced oil recovery (EOR) methods are being used to extract more oil from reservoirs that are often left with substantial amounts of oil trapped in the porous rock after primary and secondary recovery. CO2-based miscible flooding is attracting significant attention as a potential EOR method.
