To tailor the interfacial properties of polymer-based systems, it is important to understand the layer build-up and growth mechanisms, as well as the layer conformation and changes thereof. Layer hydration is also an important parameter influencing the interfacial properties.
In this overview, we present how the properties and dynamic behavior of polymer-based systems can be analyzed with QSense® QCM-D and what information these measurements offer.
